I know that a lot of kids like to wear funny t shirts to express themselves but I am wondering if their parents even look at them when they buy them. I have seen some funny shirts at our local high school that I do not consider funny. I remember being in high school and having a totally different outlook on things then than I do today but I still do not think that my parents would have allowed me to wear funny t shirts like that.

I asked the principal about it, and he said that he always is watching what the kids wear and some of their funny shirts are not really that bad. He has seen some where he has made the kids turn them inside out or even go home and change but for the most part, he allows them.

I was shocked to hear that and will be making sure that my kids do not expect to wear anything like the funny t shirts I have seen when they get into high school. Of course, it is always possible to buy different clothing and change in the bathroom after you leave home. I had some friends who did that when we were in school, but I never did it.
