I am new in school. I came from the countryside and my father has been recently assigned to work in highly urbanized city. The school that my parents chose for me was a high-end school in that area. I was a bit apprehensive to study in that school. I might not be accepted since I came from a small town. They were so fancy and I was just in t shirts and jeans.

On my first day, nobody spoke to me except the teachers and the class president who was actually doing it because it was his responsibility. I knew school will not be the same. I suddenly miss my friends and my school back home. I had to lie to my parents when they ask me about school. I told them it was fine. On day, I opened my locker and found out that physical education t shirt was vandalized. It said: “Go home Loser.” From that point on, I lost my self-confidence. With no friends in tow, I eat lunch alone and study in the library alone. There was nowhere to go when class ends except home. No soccer games or baseball games.

This life has to stop. I have to exert effort. Why not do it in my clothing? I bought funny shirts online from this really hip site and I wore it in school. Some classmates asked where I bought it and I told them why I brought it. They said sorry and formed three friends. Indeed, I feel happy with these funny t shirts.
