Using used IBM servers has been a common occurrence since companies began slashing down the budget of IT departments all across the country.  That is why there are a lot of stores selling refurbished servers and computer components and accessories.  You just have to be wary though because not all stores are alike especially with the quality of the items that they carry. 

When our company had to resort to using used IBM iSeries servers I had to make sure that the supplier we get will be able to give us high quality products every time we place an order even if the items they have are second hand. Good thing I came across the website of this store that sells used IBM components and servers.   I like what I saw and read in the website so I decided to give them a call.  The person I spoke to was knowledgeable so I tested them by ordering a couple of parts that we needed to replace the broken ones in the office.  As agreed upon, the items were delivered on time and in the best condition.  You will not notice that it was refurbished.  Glad to say that they passed the test.
