Posted by Faith on May 17th, 2010 Just been recently married, Charles and I had to put our clothes in one small cabinet just enough for the two of us. So by the time the first baby came, and a need for a larger cabinet began to resurface. My maternity dresses and my old clothes filled the entire gap of Charles shirts, socks and hanky. That’s when we decided that a custom closet organizer will be made in order to maximize each other’s space.
I searched the net for a proper design and found this company who specializes in closet storage Raleigh NC vicinty .I saw the picture of their work and it was stunning. I knew that in no time, my problem will be fixed.
The next day, they came over and started measuring the required number. I clarified to them that I wanted shelves to put away every imaginable clothes we owned. They quickly came up with an idea to even make an empty space in case we will have more clothes to fill for future use.
I can not believe how effective it worked for us! The extra space they left us was used after a few months of buying new clothes. Charles shoes for the first—were finally in order. His shirts, socks and hankies are all placed neatly in the drawer. In fact, he would often fix them so as not to make it looked untidy. Thanks to them—my husband and I can finally enjoy having an organized closet.
Posted by Faith on May 10th, 2010 I promised my daughter to hire this paint store Raleigh area to do her room as a birthday gift. Almost all her friends got their rooms renovated by this crew and she wanted to be “in”, just like them. I thought, she needed to feel better about herself and if that meant hiring a group of people to make her happy on her birthday, well, I would do it.
We live in the neighborhood and I decided to check out their showroom. They had all kinds of house repair services, modern design ideas and home renovating pieces. They even displayed a model room which I know my daughter would really love but it is something I cannot afford. I hurried towards the door when a staff of the store followed me.
She talked to me and asked me what I needed. I bluntly said that I wanted to renovate my daughter’s room but seeing their style, I cannot cope. She asked me of my budget. I sighed and told her how much I can afford. She said to me: We can do this for you. I was stumped. So I hired them and like an angel, she spoke of the truth. My daughter loved her new room so much and that lead me to believe that this is the best home remodelers in Raleigh NC, without a doubt.
Posted by Faith on May 3rd, 2010 The rust removal product that I found at work seemed to really do the trick. I was a little skeptical of it at first, since it said that it was not a dangerous chemical. Every kind of product that I have ever used that actually took rust off, has been highly toxic. This stuff was called evapo-rust and I know that because I wrote it down to show to my husband.
My husband buys lots of old auto parts from garage sales and flea markets and then cleans them up to resell. If he had this evapo-rust to use on them for rust removal, then I think he would be able to get more money out of them and turn a high profit. He might also buy things that he would not have bought before.
Posted by Faith on April 19th, 2010 The screen enclosure Tampa Fl company just called me to confirm that we were still on for the job their doing for me next week. I completely forgot that I was going to be out of town that week. They said they could still come do the job and send the bill to me in the mail. I was a bit worried to think of having complete strangers in my home while I was gone for a week but if I rescheduled it was going to be pushed back for another month. I needed this work done now.
So I agreed to the original date. I was actually kind of excited to be returning home to brand new screens in my sun room. They were so worn out, and really not safe for my daughter to be around.
My mother was rather worried about me leaving my keys with a complete stranger, but I had no choice. To comfort her we called the Better Business Bureau and the company actually happened to be one of the top five best screen room Tampa area companies. That definitely did settle some nerves for her and me. So, I left in confidence that my home and my belongings would be intact when I returned as well as a beautiful screen job well done.
Posted by Faith on March 22nd, 2010 My wife thinks that we need to install hands free soap dispensers in our house. I told her that those are only in public places and that we are fine to use soap that we have to pump. She explained that our kids have so many guests that come over, she would just feel better about having the soap dispensers and then she would know that they are clean and no one has gotten their germs all over them.
This is the same lady who makes everyone take a squirt of purell, before entering the house. She does not care who they are, she just does it. My boss came over to dinner a few weeks ago and she met him at the door with her famous bottle of purell. I wanted to crawl under the couch, but he commented that with all the colds and flus going around, you can never be too careful and he thought that it was a great idea.
I am not quite sure what she will do next, to keep germs away. I am just hoping that it does not involve a big plastic bubble or some sort of body disinfecting spray. I would have to put my foot down and stop the madness.
Posted by Faith on February 8th, 2010 I have always wanted a master bathroom but when we bought this house, we were never sure if we could add one or not. I called in some home addition Raleigh contractors to look at where I wanted to put the master bath and had them give me their opinion if it would work or not. After hearing from them that they thought it would be an easy thing to do, I hired the home addition Raleigh contractors to do the job.
I had to travel to the Raleigh bathroom remodeling showroom that they have to pick out all the fixtures, cabinetry and everything else on the list. I spent approximately four hours in the Raleigh bathroom remodeling showroom and got everything I needed picked out and ordered. It was all set to be in about the time that the addition of the master bath would be completed.
The entire project was to take only four weeks from start to finish and it actually took seven weeks since almost everything that I picked out in the showroom was on backorder. I guess that it just shows that a lot of people also have as good as taste as me and we all picked the same stuff at the same time.
Posted by Faith on January 27th, 2010 My daughter and I were out shopping one day and came across a kitchen remodeling company Tampa Bay showroom. I had always wanted to redo my kitchen, but never had the money when my kids were smaller. Since they had all moved out over the last five years, I was thinking that I should go forward with what I have always wanted to do.
In the kitchen remodeling company Tampa Bay showroom, there were so many new and fresh ideas for kitchen renovations, that I had a hard time sticking with one. I would fall in love with one style and then turn the corner only to see something else that I really liked. The kitchen designers Tampa Bay salesman that helped me, told me that I needed to make a list of everything I want my kitchen to be and then go from there. I knew that I wanted some nice new countertops and a new hardwood floor.
After I made the list for the kitchen designers Tampa Bay salesman, he asked me what my favorite colors were and then he created a computer model of the most beautiful kitchen I have ever seen. This was going to be the kitchen that I would put into my house.
Posted by Faith on December 23rd, 2009 My first choice for new doors was iron entry doors but I am having trouble finding some that are affordable that do not look cheap. I started searching online instead of looking around town and I am starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel.
I found two different companies that will ship whichever iron gates and iron entry doors I choose to me free of charge. I think that I may have to go with some that are featured in the clearance section of the sites but that is okay, since they have such a wide variety of them, I know that I will be able to get a great deal.
I have two choices to make now, which of the iron entry doors and iron gates I want, and which company to buy them from. I am thinking that I should choose the company that is closer to me so that I get my order delivered sooner rather than later. I hope to have the gates and doors delivered and installed by the end of the month when my parents come to visit. My mother will love them, since she also has iron doors and gates on her house.
Posted by Faith on December 15th, 2009 It took ten different outdoor painting services companies to complete the project of repainting the school busses. Someone had spray painted them over the summer and the school corporation had to have numerous fundraisers to pay to raise the money to repaint them. The insurance company that the school had did not want to pay for the damage since it had happened twice before and they just had to drop the school after the third time.
I read in the paper that not only did the outdoor painting services companies just charge for the paint, but they all cut their rates of what they would usually charge in half. I was glad to see that they did not do it for free, since I understand that it is hard enough for the little guys to make it without having to do free jobs.
I own a house painting company in a neighboring state from where this happened and I would have liked to help them clean up the busses, but I would not have been able to cut the prices in half like the other companies did. House painting is a very physical business and every hour is worth a lot of money. You have to recoup your hours somehow; I take my hat off to the ten companies who were able to work for half price.
Posted by Faith on December 2nd, 2009 My neighbors hired some idiot to install new replacement windows into their beautiful home. I do not know what they thought was wrong with the old windows but I am sure that they wish they would have kept them now.
He showed up one morning and started pulling out the old composite slider windows they had in originally. It started to rain about two hours into the removal of the old windows. I never saw him wipe his feet when he was going in and out, and he never covered up any of the open window holes either. This means that there had to be water and mud all over their house.
When he finally got around to putting in the replacement windows that were taking the place of the composite slider windows he cut some of the openings to make the new ones fit. Three of the openings that he cut, were too big and the new replacement windows did not take up the entire hole.
He ended up just leaving them just like that and left the house with it looking horrible. I was watching to see when they came home, what their reaction would be. You could tell that they were very upset and they ended up having to hire a more professional company to come and fix the work of the idiot they had chosen to put in their replacement windows.
